Running in Heels

A must watch for aspirants like me. Running In Heels is a reality television show that follows three interns working at the New York office of fashion magazine Marie Claire. Just the plot alone made me stick to each and every episode. Every intern has their own good and bad character but I must say that I looove how Samantha handles herself in times of pressure and even if she's bullied by the other two. So if you have spare time, I highly recommend you to watch this series on youtube or catch the replays at Travel and Living. :)

Hermès

Hermes bag. Just the thought of how much it cost sends chill to my spine. It's the luxury of all luxuries. The most expensive bag I know and the most elusive too. I watched a documentary about it and they said that when you go inside a Hermes shop, you choose the bag, pay and wait..and wait..and wait before getting that dream bag. The average waiting time for it to be delivered is 5 years. 5 freaking years for a bag! waaaaahh

The reason for it is that everything is built hand made by craftsman. Made by the finest (costliest) leather, the production for it take ages since they all do it manually to the highest of all standards for a bag that is.

Probably the most famous (most expensive) Hermes bag is a Birkin.It is named after British-born actress and singer Jane Birkin. There a few stories how and why Hermes CEO named the bag after her but I one of the most famous story is that she wanted a custom made bag and discussed all the details with the CEO. Then, when it was created she didn't know that she had to pay for it but ofcourse knowing how Hermes works, they did asked her to pay for the bag. When the popularity of the bag grew, they eventually reimbursed what she paid and now gets 10% discount on all Hermes products. Lucky girl!

As for me, oh well I'm just happy to look at it and dream that someday Hermes will name their bag after me. As I've said on my previous post, Never stop dreaming. hahaha
